A Sydney-based Local Council is seeking an experienced Administration Officer to support the Parking Operations team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative Council environment and support a busy team in a varied and rewarding administrative role.
ABOUT THE ROLE.
This is a 12-month contract opportunity. You will provide administrative and operational support across contractor management, financial administration, parking system monitoring, reporting, and customer enquiries.
DUTIES.
- Provide administrative support to parking meter operations
- Manage invoices, purchase orders, and revenue records
- Monitor parking meter performance and system issues
- Coordinate contractors and contract administration activities
- Respond to Revenue NSW enquiries and appeals
- Assist with reporting, data analysis, and site inspections
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.
- Experience working for Local Council or Government highly desirable
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Successful applicants will be required to complete a Police Check
