ABOUT THE POSITION.

As a Principal Geotechnical Engineer, you will lead and manage complex geotechnical projects, providing expert technical guidance and delivering innovative solutions. In addition to overseeing project teams and ensuring high-quality outcomes, you will play a crucial role in business development by building strong client relationships and driving new opportunities. You will mentor engineers, shape the strategic direction of projects and contribute to the ongoing growth and success of the business.

DUTIES.
  • Lead and manage geotechnical investigations, assessments and data interpretation
  • Build and maintain business relationships
  • Prepare geotechnical reports, recommendations and design solutions
  • Provide expert guidance during construction phase services
  • Train, mentor and support geotechnical engineers
  • Prepare project tenders and cost estimates
  • Lead the broader team to ensure budgets and timelines are met
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE.
  • Degree in Geotechnical Engineering or equivalent
  • Proven experience in business development
  • Chartered status (preferred)
  • Proficiency in Plaxis 2D/3D, WALLAP, GeoStudio and gINT or similar
