ABOUT THE POSITION.
We are seeking a dynamic leader to oversee the design and drafting of hydraulic and fire protection systems, ensuring full compliance with relevant Australian Standards. This role offers the opportunity to lead high-impact projects within a collaborative and innovative consultancy environment.
DUTIES.
- Lead and mentor a team of hydraulic engineers to deliver quality design outcomes
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders
- Deliver hydraulic and fire protection system designs that meet quality standards and KPI targets
- Play an active role in risk management by integrating WHS principles throughout the design process
- Manage projects effectively from inception to completion, ensuring timely and successful delivery
- Hydraulic Diploma or equivalent qualification required
- CPEng and NER accreditation (preferred, or working towards)
- In-depth knowledge of Australian Standards relevant to hydraulic and fire protection systems
- Proven leadership and excellent communication skills
