ABOUT THE POSITION.
As Principal Hydraulic Engineer, you will take responsibility for guiding the design and coordination of hydraulic services across multiple project types. The role involves providing senior-level technical input, managing project timelines and quality, and ensuring all work aligns with relevant codes and best practices. You will also play a key role in developing junior team members and contributing to overall project strategy.
DUTIES.
- Provide technical expertise throughout a project’s lifecycle
- Prepare detailed engineering reports, documentation, and presentations for stakeholders
- Design, analyse, and optimise hydraulic systems, components, and equipment to meet project requirements
- Conduct site investigations
- Play an active role in business development
- Train, mentor and guide Junior Hydraulic Engineers
- Relevant Degree qualification
- End to end design and calculations for Hydraulics Building Services
- Exposure to Fire Services is beneficial
- Proven experience within a management role
- Established local experience within Australia
- Liaising with key stakeholders
