The firm uses an innovative approach to improve design outcomes, reduce project costs, and operates under a quality-assured management system with regular client reviews.
ABOUT THE POSITION.
We are looking for a Principal Structural Engineer to lead a talented team of Structural Engineers, delivering innovative, high-quality designs while ensuring technical excellence and consistent project outcomes. This role also plays a key part in business development, nurturing client relationships, and uncovering new opportunities. DUTIES.
- Lead and review the design of steel, concrete, timber, and masonry structures using advanced engineering software
- Provide technical leadership and assurance for complex structural assets
- Manage projects end-to-end to meet time, cost quality, and safety requirements
- Oversee site inspections, compliance, and the accuracy of all calculation, design, and documentation
- Lead and mentor a team of structural engineers, develop technical standards, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver high-quality outcomes
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE.
- Bachelor of Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering or similar
- Chartership will be beneficial but not required
- Proven structural and business development experience
- Proficient in Space Gass, INDUCTA, RAPT, RAM Concept, ETABS or other similar software
- Strong understanding of BCA codes and standards/ Industry guidelines
