ABOUT THE COMPANY.
Local Council based in Sydney seeking an experienced Procurement Officer to join their team for 6-months. You'll become part of a collaborative team environment that possesses a diverse set of skills and experiences. Hybrid working arrangements - 3 days in the office & 2 days work from home.
ABOUT THE ROLE.
November start, 6-month contract. Reporting to the Procurement Lead you'll be working alongside four other Procurement Specialists delivering the operational procurement activities to your business units assigned. Experience within capital works and asset management in a Government environment is high regarded.
DUTIES.
- Manage end-to-end procurement processes for compliance and efficiency
- Partner with business units to deliver value-driven outcomes
- Organise tender documentation and evaluations with precision
- Maintain accurate contract and vendor records
- Resolve risks quickly to ensure seamless project delivery
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.
- Minimum 1-2 years' experience in procurement
- Prior Local Government experience preferable
- Strong written and verbal communication
REMUNERATION.
$50 - $60 p/h + Super
