ABOUT THE COMPANY.

Local Council based in Sydney's South-West seeking an experienced Procurement Business Partner to join their team on a fixed-term contract. You'll become part of a collaborative team environment that possesses a diverse set of skills and experiences. Hybrid working arrangements - 3 days in the office & 2 days work from home.


ABOUT THE ROLE.

ASAP start, 18-month full-time contract. Reporting to the Procurement Lead you'll be working alongside four other Procurement Specialists delivering the operational procurement activities to your business units assigned. Experience within capital works and asset management in a Government environment is high regarded.

This is not a standard sourcing position. You will have high involvement in the preparation, evaluation and finalisation processes.


DUTIES.
  • Management of tender processes
  • Request for both formal and information quotations
  • Tender/quote exemption processes
  • Assist in the development of RFTs, RFQs and EOIs
  • Review and release purchase orders
  • Management of vendor files & procurement registers

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE. 
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or Diploma of Government Procurement and Contracting
  • Proven experience in the management of Tendering, RFQs, EOIs and Selective Tendering
  • Minimum 3-4 years' experience in procurement
  • Prior Local Government experience preferable

REMUNERATION.

$85,000 - $100,000 + Superannuation
