Following several major project wins, they’re seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join a landmark new build project. ABOUT THE POSITION.
Reporting to the Project Director, you will work closely with both site and project teams to deliver projects up to $150M, from design through to completion. This role provides exposure to landmark new build projects across Canberra, offering a clear pathway for professional development and career progression. With a strong and secured local pipeline, this builder provides long-term employment stability and genuine opportunities for growth within the Canberra market.
DUTIES.
- Manage project design and documentation
- Coordinate building services and subcontractors
- Oversee procurement and programming
- Monitor project costs and variations
- Manage WHS and QA compliance
- Liaise with clients and consultants throughout delivery
- Experience as a Site Engineer or Project Engineer on commercial new build projects over $20M
- Tertiary or trade qualification in a building-related discipline
- Demonstrated understanding of design coordination, services integration, and structural packages
- Strong communication and client management skills
- Proven track record of stability and progression within reputable builders
