Specialising in high-end projects up to 200M+, they provide exceptional support to their established team, ensuring outstanding results. Having secured a number of exciting commercial and multi-residential projects, we are seeking to employ an ambitious and skilled Project Engineer to oversee the delivery of the project from start to finish in Canberra.

ABOUT THE POSITION.

As Project Engineer, you’ll play a vital role in delivering largescale commercial build projects. Reporting to an experienced Project Manager, you’ll coordinate trades, services, programming, procurement, RFIs, and ensure strong compliance with WHS legislation. Working closely with the site and project teams, you’ll gain comprehensive exposure across the entire delivery lifecycle, building the skills and experience needed to progress into a Project Manager role in the near future.

DUTIES.
  • Assist with cost tracking, variations, and forecasting
  • Attend and document site meetings and coordination workshops
  • Liaise with consultants, engineers, and stakeholders as required
  • Review and manage subcontractor claims and approvals
  • Support commissioning and handover processes
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE.
  • Previous experience in a Project Engineer or Contract Admin role preferable
  • Understanding of WHS and Quality Assurance compliance
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
