ABOUT THE POSITION.
Due to continued project wins, this business is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join their Sydney team. Reporting directly to the Project Manager, you will play a key role in the technical and commercial delivery of subdivision and roadworks projects from start to finish.
This role is well suited to someone looking to broaden their skill set, take on greater responsibility and progress towards a Project Manager position within a supportive environment.
DUTIES.
- Overseeing technical delivery and ensuring works are constructed to design and specification
- Managing subcontractor packages including scopes, progress and performance
- Preparing and managing RFIs, submittals and project documentation
- Supporting commercial management including variations and cost reporting
- Liaising with clients, consultants and site teams on a day to day basis
- Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or related discipline
- Demonstrated experience delivering subdivision or roadworks projects within Australia
- Strong communication and relationship management skills across all levels
- Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of project outcomes
