This is a family-owned civil contractor in Western Sydney that’s been growing steadily over the last few years. They’ve earned a strong reputation, working with leading builders, major developers, and Transport for NSW. They've created a new Project Manager position due to new projects commencing. An experienced team of Engineers, Supervisors and other project members will be there to support you throughout the project.
ABOUT THE POSITION.
As Project Manager, you’ll be responsible for keeping the project on track from start to finish. You’ll report to the Construction Manager and work closely with senior leadership to make sure everything stays on schedule, on budget, and to the highest quality standards. You’ll also be leading a team of Engineers and Supervisors, with plenty of opportunities to grow and develop your career along the way.
DUTIES.
- Keep the project moving smoothly and on schedule
- Plan and coordinate the program of works
- Manage relationships with clients and subcontractors
- Oversee financial reporting and project performance
- Track costs and make sure the project stays within budget
We’re looking for someone who has:
- A degree in Civil Engineering or something similar
- Experience in a Project Management role
- Worked on earthworks or civil infrastructure projects
- Strong commercial sense and understanding of project budgets
