Join a local council located North of Sydney as a Project Manager. Local Government offer 35 hours per week, flexible start and finish times, RDO's and stability in contract roles with potential for extension or transition into a permanent role.
ABOUT THE POSITION.
As a Project Manager, you will deliver building construction projects and planning for upcoming building projects that range from $400,000 - $800,000 in revenue. Develop detailed project management plans in accordance with Councils Project Management Framework, for projects with major HVAC replacement and community centre fit outs.
DUTIES.
- Develop detailed project management plans aligning with Councils framework
- Engage and manage consultants with design and contract management
- Implement feasibility assessments, business cases, project planning and design management
- Manage and communicate with a variety of Stakeholders and working groups
- Tertiary qualifications in Project Management, Construction and/or Engineering
- Previous experience in Local Government is highly desirable
- Knowledge and experience using Australian Standard Contracts
- Project exposure across buildings, fit-outs, community centres and/or HVAC replacement
