Join a local council located Western Sydney as a Project Manager. Local Government offers 35 hours per week, flexible start and finish times, and stability in contract roles with potential for extension. This Council has over $56M budget capabilities for their Western Sydney Infrastructure Grant to deliver a state of the art facility, to contribute to their community development.
ABOUT THE POSITION.
As a Project Manager, you will take a project from start to construction including design, feasibility, procurement, stakeholder engagement, risk management through to construction and handover. This Council has engaged a Tier 2 consultancy, you will be responsible for managing the external stakeholder to ensure works are carried out in an efficient timeframe.
DUTIES
- Implement feasibility assessments, business cases, project planning and design management
- Responsible for design and planning component
- Manage and communicate with a variety of Stakeholders and working groups
- Manage risk, stakeholders and consultants
- Tertiary qualifications in Project Management, Construction and/or Architecture
- Up to 15 years' industry experience in design management
- Experience in design management, stakeholder engagement and planning
- Project exposure across buildings, fit-outs, community centres and/or open space
