ABOUT THE POSITION
Reporting to the Project Director, you will take full ownership of delivering multiple commercial projects across Sydney simultaneously. Whether it is a high end fitout, a complex refurbishment or a new build, you will be across everything from early design through to handover. You will manage the client relationship, lead your project and site team, keep subcontractors accountable and make sure every project lands on time, on budget and to a high standard. For the right person, the pathway to Project Director is real and within reach.
DUTIES
- End to end project delivery across fitout, refurbishment and new build
- Budget management and compliance
- Client and stakeholder management
- Programme oversight and reporting
- Leading and mentoring the project and site team
- Subcontractor and supplier management
- Supporting business development and repeat client relationships
Must Have
- Background in commercial fitout, refurbishment or new build
- Strong communicator at client, team and subcontractor level
- Tertiary or trade qualification in a building related discipline
- Experience delivering projects up to $10M
- Proven ability to lead and mentor a project and site team
- Stable and consistent work history with previous employers
- Experience working for a Sydney head contractor or builder
- Experience as a Project Manager in commercial construction
