ABOUT THE COMPANY.

Our client is a highly reputable Professional Quantity Surveyor firm that holds a strong presence in the industry. The company has a stellar project portfolio across various sectors i.e Residential, Commercial, Health & Education.

They are seeking for a Quantity Surveyor to join their enthusiastic team and contribute towards their current and upcoming projects. ABOUT THE POSITION.

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a pivotal role by working on large scale projects across Health, Commercial, Education, Residential, Infrastructure sectors. This will allow you to enhance your skill set and project portfolio. You will be carrying out all QS duties from the feasibility stage through to the handover stage of a project.

In this position, you will be given the golden opportunity to work closely and attain guidance from industry experts whilst working alongside qualified Quantity Surveyors. Our client will assist you in progressing in your career by offering a clear and tailored career progression plan.

DUTIES.
  • Initiate budgets and benchmarks
  • Manage bank draw down reports
  • Conduct Site Inspections
  • Pre-tender Estimates
  • Manage Variations & Progress Claims
  • Pre Contract and Post Contract work
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE.  
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or equivalent 
  • Minimum 3 years Professional Quantity Surveying in Australia
  • AIQS or MRICs preferred 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
