This reputable Local Council is hunting for an experienced Ranger to play a pivotal part in their team. For the duration of a 6 month contract, you will be reporting to the Team Leader and promoting a positive image of Council in an efficient and courteous manner.
ABOUT THE POSITION.
In this role, you will work alongside a team of 6 rangers within a broader team of 15. You will actively patrol the LGA to ensure general compliance. This includes managing unauthorized events, animal control, illegal dumping, noise control, littering, land use and more to ensure safety for the community.
DUTIES.
- Enforce parking provisions within the Local Government Area
- Patrol building sites and school zones
- Response to animal attacks and noise complaints
- Report other non-related parking matters to Council
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.
- A Class C Driver's Licence is required
- Must have Certificate IV Local Government
- Ability to work autonomously and in a diverse team environment
- Well-developed conflict resolution and problem-solving skills
