Join an established, respected Local Government team as a Registered Surveyor , where you’ll contribute to meaningful community outcomes while enjoying genuine flexibility and career growth.
In this role, you’ll deliver a mix of capital works and cadastral surveying projects, from detail and boundary surveys through to subdivision and design support. It’s a great opportunity for a private sector surveyor looking to transition into Local Government without losing the diversity and challenge of project-based work.
DUTIES.
- Deliver a range of surveying services including fieldwork, reports, sketches, and plans
- Ensuring adherence to NSW legislation, surveying standards and regulatory requirements
- Carry out cadastral, topographical and engineering surveys
- Produce high integrity 3D models suitable for engineering and landscape design
- Bachelor of Surveying or equivalent
- Registered or nearing registration as a Land Surveyor with the Board of Surveying & Spatial Information NSW
- Proven experience using robotic total stations and GNSS, with an understanding of TLS
- Able to perform cadastral, topographical, and engineering surveys
- Skilled in developing high-integrity 3D models for engineering and landscape design
