ABOUT THE POSITION.

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Remedial Engineer to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting detailed investigations, preparing reports, and overseeing the remediation of building defects. You will work closely with clients, contractors, and internal teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.
  

DUTIES.
  • Conduct thorough investigations of building structures to identify defects and assess their causes
  • Prepare detailed reports outlining findings, recommendations, and remediation strategies
  • Develop and implement remedial solutions in compliance with relevant codes and standards
  • Coordinate and supervise remedial works to ensure timely and cost-effective completion
  • Collaborate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to achieve optimal outcomes

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE.
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent)
  • Extensive experience in remedial engineering within the Australian market
  • Proficiency in structural design software like Microstran, Strand7, Bluebeam SpaceGass and Inducta (not essential)
  • Strong understanding of Australian building codes and standards
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
