As such, this company is seeking to employ a driven Safety Officer to oversee the delivery of current and upcoming projects from start to finish in their Sydney NSW division.
ABOUT THE ROLE.
As a Site Safety Officer, you report to the Safety Manager and Construction Manager to help advocate safe work practices. You will monitor operations to eliminate hazardous activities. You will also develop policies to promote occupational health and safety awareness.
DUTIES.
- Advise on provisions to minimise safety risks
- Direct accident investigation procedures
- Keep records of safety-related incidents and propose corrective actions
- Collaborate with managers to monitor compliance and identify safety issues
- Proven experience as safety officer or similar is advantageous
- Excellent communication and advisory skills
- Diligent with an analytical mind
