Their civil team delivers integrated land development solutions, including 12D civil design, stormwater and flood modelling, earthworks, pavement design, and WSUD, across projects of varying scale and complexity.
ABOUT THE POSITION.
An opportunity is available for an experienced Senior 12D Civil Designer to join the Sydney office. This role is ideal for a technically capable designer who enjoys working across multiple aspects of civil design and contributing to high-quality, compliant development outcomes.
DUTIES.
- Prepare detailed 12D civil designs for subdivisions, commercial developments, and infrastructure works
- Undertake earthworks modelling and grading design to optimise land use and ensure compliance
- Design road and car park pavements, including flexible and rigid pavement systems
- Model and document stormwater drainage systems, including OSD, WSUD, and bioretention systems
- Assist with and coordinate flood modelling outputs and drainage assessments for approvals
- Produce civil design drawings, long sections, cross sections, and quantities
- Collaborate closely with civil engineers, flood modellers, and project managers
- Ensure designs comply with Australian Standards, council requirements, and authority guidelines
- Provide design support during construction, responding to RFIs and site queries
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE.
- Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
- Strong experience using 12D for civil and land development design
- Experience with earthworks, pavements, stormwater drainage, and flood-related design inputs
- Working knowledge of Australian standards and local council requirements
- Familiarity with tools such as 12D, DRAINS, MUSIC, Civil 3D, or TUFLOW is advantageous
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple design tasks
- Clear communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team
