We are seeking an experienced Senior Asset Engineer to support the delivery of Council’s prioritised asset renewal, improvement, and maintenance programs.
Reporting to the Asset Coordinator, you will provide technical expertise and analytical support to ensure accurate asset data, program reporting, and effective implementation of asset management plans. You will also assist in flood risk management initiatives across the LGA.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain and update Council’s corporate asset management system and asset registers.
- Support the planning, delivery, and reporting of asset renewal, improvement, and maintenance programs.
- Conduct data and spatial analysis to provide insights for decision-making.
- Assist with the implementation and monitoring of asset management plans in line with Council strategies.
- Support flood risk management initiatives and related reporting.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure asset planning aligns with Council priorities.
- Degree in Engineering
- Experience in asset management, program reporting, or infrastructure planning within local government or similar environments
- Proficiency in CIVICA/ AUTHORITY necessary
