ABOUT THE POSITION.
  
This company is seeking an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to help get projects off the ground and drive them to successful completion. Your responsibilities include conducting site inspections, supporting tendering processes, and designing stormwater drainage systems, flood models, and WSUD/ OSD solutions, site grading, and pavements. DUTIES.
  • Lead and deliver the completion of projects or project tasks, ensuring client expectations are met.
  • Manage relationships with clients, builders, and other stakeholders
  • Mentor a team of junior engineers to develop their skills and performance
  • Support tendering processes and prepare quality and construction management plans
  • Execute design calculations while managing time and budget requirements

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE.
  • Bachelor of Civil Engineering or related field
  • Skilled in a range of civil engineering software, including DRAINS, MUSIC, CIVIL 3D, HEC-RAS, TUFLOW, and similar tools
  • Strong knowledge of stormwater, drainage, flood modelling, WSUD/OSD, site grading, and pavement design
  • Knowledge of relevant Australian standards and regulatory requirements
  • Problem solving skills and innovative thinking
