ABOUT THE POSITION.
An exciting opportunity exists for a Senior Civil Engineer to join the Adelaide team, focusing on stormwater and drainage design and project delivery.
In this role, you will lead projects from concept through to completion, managing both the technical and client-facing aspects. You will play a key role in mentoring junior engineers while contributing to the continued growth of the Adelaide office.
DUTIES.
- Lead the design and delivery of stormwater, drainage, WSUD, and detention systems
- Manage full project lifecycles, ensuring delivery within scope, time, and budget
- Liaise with clients, local councils, and relevant authorities
- Mentor and support junior engineers and designers
- Prepare and review technical reports, models, and detailed designs
- Assist with proposals, tenders, and business development initiatives
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)
- Proven experience in stormwater and drainage design within a consultancy environment
- Strong proficiency with software such as 12D, DRAINS, MUSIC, and Civil 3D
- Sound knowledge of Australian Standards and WSUD principles
- Experience managing projects and coordinating with stakeholders
- Strong communication and report-writing skills
- CPEng (or working towards) is highly regarded
