Due to continued growth, the company is now seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to join their dynamic and supportive team of like-minded professionals based in Botany.
ABOUT THE POSITION
Working closely with the Estimating Manager, you will be responsible for measuring and calculating material and labour costs, preparing competitive tender submissions, and pricing projects accurately. You’ll receive ongoing support and mentorship to help secure key projects and contribute to the company’s ongoing success. This position is ideal for a driven individual seeking accelerated professional growth and the opportunity to take a leading role within a growing business.
DUTIES
- Liaise with Clients, Suppliers, and Subcontractors
- Read and interpret plans, drawings, and specifications
- Prepare detailed and accurate tender submissions
- Negotiate pricing and terms with subcontractors and suppliers
- Contribute to strategic bidding and project acquisition
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or a related discipline
- Proven experience securing new build residential and commercial projects
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies and cost management
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and strong analytical ability
