ABOUT THE POSITION
Working closely with the Estimating Manager, you will take real ownership of end to end estimating across a diverse portfolio of commercial projects. From pretender planning through to final submission, your work will directly influence which projects this business wins. You will be well supported and well guided but equally trusted to bring your expertise and make a meaningful contribution from day one.
DUTIES
- Prepare and submit competitive tender packages
- End to end project estimating
- Cost planning
- Scope of works preparation
- Subcontractor negotiations
- Pre-tender planning
- Bill of Quantities
- Collaborate with the team on programming
- Minimum 4 years' experience in an estimating role within the construction industry
- Background in commercial fitout and refurbishment preferred
- Strong analytical ability and sharp attention to detail
- Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Excel
- Confident communicator with solid negotiation skills
- Tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or related field (preferred)
