In line with their plans of growing their utility division, they are seeking an experience Senior Estimator to support the team.
ABOUT THE POSITION.
As a Senior Estimator, you will play a crucial role in tendering for high complex projects that are valued up to $20M. You will be reporting to the Construction Manager and managing tenders from start to finish. For the right person, this role will provide long term career opportunities.
DUTIES.
- Negotiate and break down project costs
- Review contracts and project budgets
- Monitor and track project cost
- Document and submit claims under the main contract
- Ensure compliance with high standard tender processes
- A degree in Civil engineering, or a related field
- Strong background in estimating for utility projects or in the water industry
- First principle estimating experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
