THE ROLE.
As a Senior Fire Protection Engineer, you’ll take the lead in designing and reviewing fire systems that align with current codes and client needs. You’ll be involved from early concept through to final delivery, working with both internal teams and external stakeholders. This is a great opportunity to deepen your technical expertise, take ownership of your work, and contribute to projects that offer variety and challenge—all while being backed by a capable and collaborative team.
DUTIES.
- Lead and provide support to the team which includes training for Juniors
- Liaise with key stakeholders
- Conduct fire engineering analysis, calculations and modelling
- Develop fire strategies and solutions to comply with industry standards
- Develop fire safety engineering performance solution reports
- Collaborating with team members and stakeholders to create fire safety solutions
- Chartered Professional Engineer status would be ideal but not essential
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Proficiency in Bluebeam
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team
- Commercial experience is highly advantageous
