We are seeking a Flood Engineer to join the Sydney team who can hit the ground running and make an immediate impact!
ABOUT THE POSITION.
As a Flood Engineer, you will deliver a range of flood modelling and risk assessment projects in a collaborative and supportive team environment. For the right person, this role offers a competitive salary tailored to your skills and experience and flexible working arrangements.
DUTIES.
- Identify flood risks and recommend practical solutions to reduce impact.
- Manage flood engineering projects from planning through to completion
- Prepare technical reports, project documentation, and cost estimates
- Collaborate with clients, project managers, and other stakeholders
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE.
- Bachelor’s degree of Civil Engineering or related field
- Demonstrated experience in flood engineering or hydraulic modelling
- Proficient in HEC-RAS, TUFLOW, or similar flood modelling software
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong understanding of relevant Australian engineering standards, guidelines, and codes
