ABOUT THE POSITION.

As a Senior Geotechnical Engineer, you will lead the development and delivery of complex geotechnical projects from inception through to construction. You will provide high-level technical input, mentor junior staff, and contribute to strategic project planning and client engagement. Your advanced knowledge of ground investigations, site characterisation, and risk management will inform robust designs and ensure lasting engineering outcomes.

DUTIES.
  • Lead complex field investigations, geotechnical analyses, and reporting
  • Offer strategic technical advice during design and construction phases
  • Serve as a key client contact, managing stakeholder relationships and expectations
  • Supervise field teams and provide technical review of junior engineers’ work
  • Present recommendations with clarity and confidence to both technical and non-technical clients
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, innovation, and project efficiency
  • Ensure all work meets the highest safety, quality, and regulatory standards
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.
  • Extensive experience in geotechnical engineering within the Australian market
  • Degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering 
  • Exceptional project leadership and technical reporting capabilities
  • Strong client management and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Valid, unrestricted driver’s licence
  • Familiarity with a wide range of investigation, testing, and design methodologies
