ABOUT THE POSITION.
As a Senior Hydraulic Engineer, you will take responsibility for guiding the design and coordination of Hydraulic services across multiple project types. The role involves senior-level technical input, managing project timelines and quality, collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams, clients and stakeholders, and ensure all work aligns with relevant codes, standards, and regulations. You will also play a key role in developing junior team members and contributing to overall project strategy.
DUTIES.
- Perform hydraulic calculations and analysis for water demand, pressure, flow rates and pipe sizing
- Contribute to project timelines, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and on schedule
- Lead detailed design and documentation of hydraulic services
- Prepare detailed engineering reports, documentation, and presentations for stakeholders
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and stakeholders
- Conduct site investigations
- Train, mentor and guide Junior Hydraulic Engineers
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Diploma in Hydraulics or equivalent
- End to end design and calculations for Hydraulics Building Services
- Previous local project experience in Australia
- Proven experience with overseeing junior to intermediate engineers
- High level of competence with Bluebeam and Revit
