ABOUT THE POSITION.

As a Senior Hydraulic Engineer, you will take responsibility for guiding the design and coordination of Hydraulic services across multiple project types. The role involves senior-level technical input, managing project timelines and quality, collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams, clients and stakeholders, and ensuring all work aligns with relevant codes, standards, and regulations. You will also play a key role in developing junior team members and contributing to overall project strategy.
  
DUTIES.
  • Lead detailed design and documentation of hydraulic services
  • Perform hydraulic calculations and analysis for water demand, pressure, flow rates and pipe sizing
  • Contribute to project timelines, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and on schedule
  • Prepare detailed engineering reports, documentation, and presentations for stakeholders
  • Coordinate with clients, contractors, and stakeholders
  • Conduct site inspections as required
  • Train, mentor and guide junior and graduate engineers
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Diploma in Hydraulics or equivalent
  • Previous local project experience in Australia
  • Proven experience with overseeing junior engineers
  • High level of proficiency with relevant software including Revit and Bluebeam
