ABOUT THE POSITION.

As a Senior Interior Designer, you will take ownership of an exclusive client portfolio, leading projects end-to-end from concept through to delivery. You will play a pivotal role in elevating design quality, managing key client relationships, and mentoring junior designers within a dynamic team environment.

This is a career-defining opportunity with a clear pathway into a future Head of Design role, where you will lead and scale the design function across multiple offices.
  
DUTIES.
  • Lead interior design projects from concept through to delivery across commercial fit-outs
  • Manage client relationships, translating briefs into tailored, high-quality design solutions
  • Oversee design documentation including schematic, construction, and joinery drawings ensuring compliance with BCA/NCC standards
  • Coordinate internal teams, consultants, and suppliers to ensure seamless project execution
  • Mentor and support junior designers while driving design quality and consistency
  
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.
  • Proven experience in a Senior Interior Design role within commercial fit-out
  • Strong client-facing skills with the ability to manage key stakeholder relationships
  • Ability to lead projects end-to-end with strong attention to detail
  • Solid understanding of BCA, NCC, and relevant Australian Standards
  • Proficiency in design software including AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Suit
