ABOUT THE POSITION.

As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will play a key role in the design and delivery of a diverse portfolio of projects. Working alongside a skilled and dedicated team, you will lead the development of innovative HVAC solutions from concept to completion. Your expertise will be essential in tackling complex engineering challenges, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and delivering high-quality projects.

DUTIES.
  • Lead and manage building services projects from concept through to completion
  • Perform design reviews and quality checks to ensure accuracy, compliance and consistency with relevant codes, standards and project requirements
  • Coordinate effectively with clients, contractors, architects, consultants and other project stakeholders
  • Identify and resolve complex technical and design challenges throughout the project lifecycle
  • Assist with project planning, technical reporting, documentation and delivery to agreed timeframes and budget
  • Provide technical leadership, guidance and mentorship to junior and developing engineers  
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent qualification
  • CPEng qualification, or actively working towards CPEng, is preferred
  • Emerging leader with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to mentor and support junior engineers
  • Demonstrated experience engaging with clients and stakeholders, applying sound technical knowledge to understand requirements and deliver practical engineering solutions
  • Proficient in Revit, Camel and Bluebeam, with the ability to produce and review high-quality engineering documentation
  • Strong technical problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering projects efficiently and to a high standard
