ABOUT THE POSITION.

We're looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to take ownership of mechanical building services projects from concept through to completion. You'll lead HVAC design and coordinate across disciplines This is a genuine opportunity to step into a senior, client-facing role with real autonomy, backed by a supportive and technically strong team.

DUTIES.
  • Leading mechanical design and delivery across a variety of building services projects
  • Coordinating mechanical services with other disciplines, consultants and contractors
  • Heat load calculations, equipment selection and system sizing
  • Managing stakeholder relationships across the full project lifecycle
  • Ensuring designs comply with relevant Australian standards, codes and project requirements
  • Conducting design reviews and quality assurance checks to maintain technical standards
  • Attending site inspections and resolving technical issues
  • Mentoring and supporting junior and intermediate engineers
  • Managing project deliverables, priorities and deadlines
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification
  • Proven experience delivering mechanical building services projects within a consultancy environment
  • A quality-driven approach, with close attention to detail across the project lifecycle
  • Confident written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients, contractors and multidisciplinary project teams
  • Proficiency in Revit, Bluebeam and Camel
