As a Senior Project Officer , you'll take the lead on a diverse range of infrastructure and building projects for Campbelltown City Council. From community facilities to capital works, your focus will be on delivering safe, high-quality outcomes – on time and within budget.
You'll manage contractors, oversee WHS compliance, track progress, and support strategic planning alongside experienced council staff.
Your key responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end delivery of capital works and infrastructure projects
- Oversee budgets, timelines, risk, and stakeholder communication
- Ensure compliance with WHS, environmental and quality standards
- Prepare reports, project plans, and risk assessments
- Lead site inspections and manage external contractors
- Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field
- Proven experience in project delivery within local government or infrastructure desirable
- White Card (General Construction Induction)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational and stakeholder management skills
