ABOUT THE POSITION.

An opportunity has become available for a Quantity Surveyor to join a collaborative and experienced team delivering projects from early feasibility through to completion. You will gain exposure to a broad range of sectors including Commercial, Residential, Education, Healthcare, Industrial, Government and Infrastructure, while working closely with senior professionals who are committed to your ongoing development.

This role offers genuine variety, combining traditional consultancy services with opportunities to become involved in bank reporting, contract administration, value management and broader commercial advisory services.

DUTIES.
  • Prepare detailed cost plans, feasibility studies and estimates
  • Complete measurement and Bills of Quantities using CostX
  • Deliver pre and post contract Quantity Surveying services
  • Prepare bank reports and monitor project cash flow
  • Manage progress claims, variations and contract administration
  • Attend client meetings and provide commercial cost advice
  • Liaise with developers, contractors, consultants and financiers throughout project delivery
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE.
  • Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or equivalent
  • Minimum 4 years' consultancy Quantity Surveying experience in Australia 
  • Experience delivering pre and/or post contract services
  • Proficiency using CostX is highly regarded
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • A proactive attitude with a genuine desire to continue learning
