ABOUT THE POSITION.
As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will lead the design of innovative structures, working closely with a skilled team of engineers and drafters to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices. In addition to your technical responsibilities, you will play a key role in mentoring junior engineers sharing your expertise to support their development and contribute to the growth of the team.
DUTIES.
- Structural design and calculations
- Conducting site inspections to determine suitability
- Training and mentoring of junior staff
- Detailed documentation, design and analysis of various elements such as reinforced concrete, steel and timber
- Monitoring budgets to ensure project costs stay within range
- Collaborate with the internal engineering and drafting teams
- Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) or equivalent qualification
- Proficiency in software of Inducta, SpaceGass and Structural Toolkit or similar related software
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Commercial, Education, Health and Child Care project experience
- Chartership or eligibility to apply is highly regarded
