ABOUT THE POSITION.
We are seeking a seasoned Senior Structural Engineer to lead projects, mentor engineers, and ensure technical excellence across a diverse portfolio, from residential and commercial buildings to childcare and aged care projects.
DUTIES.
- Lead structural design for, concrete, steel, timber, masonry systems
- Prepare and review calculations, technical drawings, design packages, and reports
- Coordinate with architects, civil engineers, clients, and contractors
- Conduct site inspections, structural assessments, and safety audits
- Ensure compliance with Australian codes and regulations
- Mentor junior staff, share best practices, and review deliverables
- Participate in project planning, resource scheduling, budgeting, and client meetings
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE.
- A bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering (or similar)
- Extensive proven experience in structural design within the Australian market
- Proficiency in software like Inducta, RAPT, RAM Concept, ETABs, Space Gass (or similar)
- Deep knowledge of Australian standards
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and project leadership skills.
