ABOUT THE POSITION.
As a direct result of the company’s success over the years, building their networks and establishing long term relationships, they are looking to make a strategic hire for a Chartered Senior Structural Engineer. You will liaise with key stakeholders internally and externally to meet the business’ goals. In addition, you will be managing the whole life cycle of their projects, play an active role in the training and development of the current team as well as being involved in the strategic growth.
DUTIES.
- Prepare design specifications, calculation and documentation using: Inducta, RAPT, ETABS, Space Gass, Structural Tool Kit and DesignIT
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders
- Train, mentor and play an active role in developing the junior team
- Attend client meetings, site visits and inspections
- Work as a team player to ensure deadlines are met
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE.
- Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering
- Strong track record in delivering residential, multi-dwelling structures, commercial and childcare projects
- Excellent communication with the confidence to spearhead clients and liaise with external stakeholders on a regular basis
