ABOUT THE POSITION.
As a Site Engineer, you will be reporting directly to the Project Engineer. You will play a key role in supporting the delivery team and taking ownership of the administrative and technical functions that keep a project moving. This is a hands on opportunity to work alongside experienced seniors, build your technical capability and gain exposure to high profile works. All projects are based within Sydney metro, so there is no relocation or regional travel involved.
DUTIES.
Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Organising and maintaining project documentation (OH&S, QA, ITPs)
- Liaising closely with the Project Engineer and Foreman to coordinate site activities
- Assisting with costing and budget tracking
- Managing subcontractors and monitoring performance on site
- Preparing variations and progress claims
- Compiling accurate and timely project reporting
To be considered, you will have:
- A Bachelor of Civil Engineering or similar qualification
- Demonstrated roadworks experience (essential)
- Experience delivering projects of a comparable scale and value
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- A proactive, detail focused approach and the drive to progress your career
