ABOUT THE COMPANY

Their project portfolio includes commercial, government, and blue-chip clients, among others. Thanks to their well-established relationships with several high-profile clients, the company has numerous exciting projects lined up across their specialised sectors throughout Sydney, NSW. As a result, they are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee the delivery of current and upcoming projects across the region.

ABOUT THE POSITION

This role involves managing all aspects of site operations, with a strong emphasis on ensuring high-quality construction, safety, and on-site productivity. You will collaborate with a skilled and well-supported project team—including a Project Manager, Foremen, Contract Administrators, Site Engineers, and Cadets—to ensure smooth project execution from start to finish.

DUTIES
  • Oversee and manage on-site project activities
  • Ensure excellence in WHS, quality, and compliance
  • Develop and manage construction programming (short- and long-term)
  • Lead and manage the site team to achieve project outcomes
  • Manage and audit subcontractor performance
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
  • Trade qualification in Carpentry or equivalent
  • Proven experience as a Site Manager delivering commercial new build projects valued between $5M and $20M
  • Strong track record of stability with previous employers
  • Experience in medium to large-scale new build construction projects is highly preferred
