Due to a consistently strong project pipeline and several new project wins, the company is expanding its team and seeking an experienced Site Manager to join their dynamic and supportive construction division immediately.
ABOUT THE ROLE
In this role, you will oversee the site management of high-end commercial fit-out projects, ensuring seamless delivery from start to finish. You’ll be responsible for coordinating day-to-day site operations, managing subcontractors, and ensuring all work meets the company’s uncompromising standards of safety, quality, and timeliness. You will work closely with an experienced Project Manager, Contracts Administrator, and Leading Hand, who will provide strong operational support. This role is ideal for an ambitious professional seeking to advance their career through exposure to complex, design-driven projects across Sydney’s CBD and metropolitan areas.
DUTIES
- Oversee and coordinate all on-site construction activities
- Ensure all works are completed in line with WHS legislation and company standards
- Manage construction scheduling and program timelines
- Supervise, mentor, and manage subcontractors and trades
- Uphold quality assurance standards throughout all stages of the project
- Trade qualification in Carpentry or equivalent (highly regarded)
- 5+ years’ experience in site management within commercial new builds or fit-outs
- Proven ability to manage high-end or bespoke projects
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Experience in commercial projects preferred but not essential
