ABOUT THE ROLE.
As Site Manager, you’ll be responsible for running the day-to-day operations on major commercial builds. You’ll take ownership of site performance, keeping projects on track while maintaining high standards across safety, quality, and delivery. Working closely with an experienced Project Manager and a capable site team, you’ll play a key role in driving outcomes on some of Canberra’s more recognisable projects.
DUTIES.
- Manage and coordinate all on-site activities from start to finish
- Lead site teams and provide guidance to junior staff
- Oversee subcontractors, suppliers, and trades on site
- Ensure site safety, quality standards, and project timelines are met
- Run toolbox talks, site inductions, and manage WHS compliance
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.
- Demonstrated experience as a Site Manager on commercial builds
- Strong understanding of construction methodology and sequencing
- Ability to manage programme, safety, quality, and site logistics
- Trade background or relevant construction qualification preferred
- Confident leadership and clear communication style
