ABOUT THE COMPANY.
Join our Local Council based in Northern Sydney. Your team is responsible for the efficient delivery of cleansing services to the Local Government Area. Your role reports into the Cleansing Team Leader.
Please be advised that you will be expected to commit to a rotating roster based on operational needs. Due to the nature of this position and required hours, we can only consider candidates with a driver's license and access to a personal vehicle. Manual MR License is desirable.
ABOUT THE ROLE.
An initial 3-month contract. Your role as a Street Cleansing Operator requires your flexibility to act as an All-Rounder for the team. Your team is responsible for maintaining neat presentation of the Local Government Area and actioning any urgent cleansing requests by the community.
All successful candidates will undergo a National Police Check & Medical Check.
DUTIES.
- Work Arrangement: 5, 8-hour rostered days - Monday to Sunday between 11:30am to 9:00PM
- Assist the team in hands-on street cleansing responsibilities
- Patrolling allocated area and performing litter picking duties
- Operating Council blowers, pressure washing equipment and other plant as required
- Customer service to the members of the community
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.
- Fitness capability to consistently walk long distances and lift full bins
- Previous experience in street cleansing operations
- Working knowledge of WHS procedures
REMUNERATION.
$38 p/h + Superannuation
