ABOUT THE COMPANY.
Join our Local Council based in Northern Sydney. As the Street Cleansing Supervisor, your team is responsible for the efficient delivery or waste services to the Local Government Area. Your role reports into the Manager of Environment and Waste.
ABOUT THE ROLE.
An initial 6-month contract with potential extensions. This role will require you demonstrate a high level of leadership, problem-solving, scheduling and operational skills. Your role will expect you in the office full-time and overtime as required (fully remunerated). You will bring experience in leading a street cleansing team - preferably for a Government agency.
DUTIES.
- Lead a team of professionals to carry out cleansing duties
- Manage, direct and monitor staff by coordinating provision of labour, plant and materials
- Liaise with residents, the general public, store owners & businesses of the community
- Provide management & expertise assistance with the running of Council's street cleansing operation
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.
- Previous experience leading a street cleansing team
- Council or Government agency experience
- MR Driver's License
- Working knowledge of WHS procedures
REMUNERATION.
$60 p/h + Superannuation
