ABOUT THE POSITION.
This is an exciting opportunity for a talented Structural Engineer to work on a diverse range of projects. You’ll be involved in all phases of project delivery including concept development, structural design, documentation, client coordination, and site supervision. This role offers strong prospects for career development, with opportunities to take ownership of projects and mentor junior staff.
DUTIES.
- Undertake structural analysis and design for steel, concrete, timber, and masonry structures
- Prepare detailed engineering documentation and reports
- Coordinate with architects, builders, and other consultants
- Ensure compliance with Australian Standards and Building Codes
- Conduct site inspections and provide technical support during construction
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering (or equivalent)
- Relevant experience in structural engineering (Australian industry experience advantageous)
- Proficiency in structural design software (e.g. Inducta, RAPT, RAM Concept, ETABs, Space Gass or similar)
- Solid knowledge of Australian Standards
- Strong communication and report writing skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
