ABOUT THE POSITION.

Join the Newcastle team as a Structural Engineer, reporting to the Senior Structural Engineer. In this role, you will design and assess concrete, steel, timber, and masonry structures across a broad range of residential, commercial, industrial, and specialised projects. You will contribute to the successful delivery of projects by producing practical, high-quality engineering solutions that meet client expectations, project timelines, and industry standards. DUTIES.
  • Prepare accurate, well-structured documentation and reports
  • Ensure all designs comply with industry standards, codes, and regulatory requirements
  • Work closely with clients, architects, contractors, and key stakeholders to support project success
  • Work with the Senior Structural Engineer and wider team to deliver projects on time, while working independently when required    

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience in managing high-end residential projects
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and work independently
