Become a pivotal part of the Compliance & Enforcement Team. You will be accountable for the safety of the community, providing quality customer service, enhancing awareness and promoting swimming pool safety.
ABOUT THE POSITION.
In this role, you will work closely with residents in the local community. Report directly to the Coordinator, you will also be responsible in conducting swimming pools inspections, educating and increasing public awareness, ensuring they comply to the relevant Council's legislation and policies.
DUTIES.
- Assess applications for swimming pool compliance certificates
- Conduct on-site swimming pool inspections
- Issue swimming pool certificates
- Provide written referrals, stakeholder consultation and resolve complaints
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.
- Accreditation as a Swimming Pool Inspector (E1) or Building Surveyor - Restricted (class 1 and 10 buildings)
- Class C Driver Licence
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously and within a team when required
