ABOUT THE POSITION.
As an Traffic Engineer, you will be responsible for assisting with Councils backlog for all traffic related enquiries from internal and external Stakeholders, including undertaking grant applications for blackspot, including roads, parking, pedestrian and traffic projects.
DUTIES.
- Assess development and grant funding applications
- Prepare traffic committee reports and local forums
- Further investigate reports and provide advice to stakeholders
- Effectively communicate with customers, Councillors and General Manager
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Asset Management or relevant qualifications
- Previous experience in Local Government is highly desirable
- Proficiency in CAD and SIDICA
- High level of attention to detail and strong written and verbal communication skills
