ABOUT THE COMPANY.
Our Client based on the Lower North Shore, Sydney, is looking for an experienced Training Specialist to join their Learning & Development team. This is a great opportunity for someone who genuinely enjoys training and wants to deliver practical learning solutions across a diverse workforce.
ABOUT THE ROLE.
Temporary opportunity - Up to 5 months. In this role, you will manage and coordinate Council's training activities, working closely with managers and operational teams to understand training needs and deliver practical programs. You will be responsible for coordinating training across a range of areas, with a strong focus on safety, compliance and operational requirements.
DUTIES.
- Procure and coordinate external training suppliers
- Manage and coordinate Council training programs
- Design practical training programs and initiatives
- Partner with managers to identify needs
- Coordinate safety and compliance training requirements
- Maintain training plans, records and documentation
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.
- Relevant experience in Training, L&D, Instructional Design, or similar
- Experience working in Council or Local Government highly regarded
- Understanding of safety and compliance training
- Excellent organisational and stakeholder management skills
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills
REMUNERATIONs & BENEFITS.
- $60-$65 p/h + Super
- Hybrid working available - Up to 2 days
